      Far and away my favorite introductory Hawaiian text.   Grammar and idioms are introduced gradually through sets of pattern sentences and simple exercises.  Vocabulary used throughout the book is intentionally limited to about 800 words, sentences and dialogues are selected to emphasis proper Hawaiian in practical situations while introducing Hawaiian cultural concepts and world view.
